Fortunately, Samsung has removed the Bixby button from the recent Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and powered up Power button with additional customization like Bixby. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ does have a Bixby button, so if you have a Note 10+, then try to avoid Bixby accidents. The process to take a screenshot in Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ is a bit tricky, but not that hard if you learn how to do it.

Since there is no Bixby button in Note 10, now Power button can be customized like Bixby button in Samsung Note 10. When you press and hold the Power button, Bixby launches by default. Therefore, if you want to bring the Power menu up on the screen, it requires two buttons to be pressed and hold: Volume Down key and Power key. But with these same combinations you have to take a screenshot, hence you may end up in chaos.

Samsung’s One UI offers two different methods to take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+.

Here’s how to take screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+

Method 1: Using Buttons

The traditional method to take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ is using Power and Volume buttons. By pressing and releasing Volume Down key and Power key quickly, the Note 10 and Note 10+ will capture a screenshot. Don’t hold both the keys otherwise it will bring Power menu up on the screen.

Method 2: Using Gesture

Depending on your choice, you can also take a screenshot in Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ using Gesture. Samsung’s One UI on Samsung Note 10 and Note 10+ has a gesture for capturing screenshots. To take screenshot using Gesture, keep your hand above the screen, that way it should be touching the screen and swipe left to the right side. Immediately, a message will be displayed that screenshot has been taken.
