Apps not downloading on OnePlus 7 Pro

Recently many users have reported that the OnePlus 7 Pro does not download apps from Google Play Store. What to when Apps won’t download or Apps won’t update in the OnePlus 7 Pro? Fix 1: Restart the OnePlus 7 Pro

Before taking any harsh steps, we would recommend you to restart the device in order to fix the minor glitch. Here’s how to force restart the OnePlus 7 Pro

  1. Hold the Volume Down button and Power button until OnePlus 7 Pro turns off.

Fix 2: Update Google Play Services

Haven’t you updated the Google Play Services and Google Play Store? Don’t know, doesn’t matter, however now you have to check if both the apps are updated or not. It might be possible that due to the outdated version, apps won’t download in OnePlus 7 Pro.

  1. Launch the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap on Menu.
  3. Select My Apps & Games.
  4. Hit Update All option.

Alternatively, there’s one more way to update the apps in OnePlus 7 Pro.

  1. Go to the Settings app.
  2. Scroll and tap Apps & Notifications.
  3. Find the Google Play Services/Google Play Store and try to update it.

Fix 3: Clear Cache of Google Play Store/Google Play Services

Still, if you can’t download apps on OnePlus, then the clear cache of Google Play Store and Google Play Services. This will remove the data related to both the apps and other cache files will also get removed.

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Go to the Apps & Notifications.
  3. See all apps.
  4. Locate and tap the Google Play Store/Google Play Services.
  5. Tap Storage.
  6. Lastly, select Clear Cache.

Fix 4: Reset All Apps

One of the people has suggested this trick and it worked for me. So, kindly you should also try to fix the issue by Resetting All Apps. Once you Reset All Apps, all the Permission Restrictions, disabled apps, blocked app notifications, and default apps for actions will be restored to factory settings.

  1. Launch the Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & Notifications.
  3. There go for More options.
  4. Select Reset App Preferences.
  5. Confirm Reset.

Fix 5: Uninstall Third-Party Store

Applications that we download directly from the web aren’t safe for your device and can cause such errors. It is advisable to only download the apps that are available in the Google Play Store because they are verified by Google itself and safe for our smartphone. So if you are using any other Store like Aptoide or apkpure then kindly uninstall it to restore the functionality of OnePlus 7 Pro.
