Officially, Samsung has introduced the method to compress the file size video and image with the help of HEVC and HEIF formats. These formats consume less storage space compared to standard videos and images. Sometimes size reduction can be done up to 50%.

If you are facing storage issues, using both HEIF and HEVC format must be a better solution. However, not all the devices support this feature, don’t panic if you don’t find any option like this. Keep your device up to date and check for this feature.
